FORESIGHT 2020 - BLOG #2
(don’t miss out on an offer I negotiated for you in the text below - keep reading!)
Hey everyone, how’s the pandemic going? Personally, I’ve moved through nearly all the stages of a full-fledged crisis….
· Dismissal - Is this really a big deal?
· Annoyance - do I have to change anything?
· Determination - I can wear a mask and gloves anywhere!
· Arrogance - I’m healthy. I won’t catch Covid 19
· Disbelief - how the hell did I catch this virus?
· Fear - am I going to be alright?
· Acceptance - I have to focus on what I can control
· Curiosity - what can I do to help myself recover?
I’m pretty sure that irritation and frustration belong in there along with some guilt and shame, but you get the idea.
As promised, this series of short blogs will highlight the strategies I’m using to get healthy, be healthy and stay healthy. Covid 19 has presented a challenge like none before and in my opinion, being healthy today means having a plan, not just doing the same old things and hoping for the best. Taking action also happens to feel really good all on its own.
Years ago, I made some big decisions about my nutrition and lifestyle, especially as it pertains to how I eat. One core part of my strategy is to eat a very clean, plant-based diet, avoiding processed foods and too much sugar. I also focus on sleep and hydration because all plans fall apart for me if I don’t do the basics.
I don’t generally take too many supplements apart from turmeric and magnesium and one called Go Condition. Go Condition is unlike almost any other supplement I know of, because it is a “non-nutrient” supplement, derived from flavonoids which are found in the colorful skins and leaves of plants. These compounds work to prime my body to handle inflammatory stress, everything from the stresses of everyday life to the stresses of my 5.8 Global Adventure Series.
This supplement came to my attention in mid 2019, a doctor friend of mine, a researcher at North Appalachian State University, asked me if I had heard of Go Condition. He explained the science behind it and I was intrigued. As it turned out, Quercetin is the foundation of Go Condition, along with bilberries and green tea extract. This powerful combination of flavonoids made an immediate impact on me. It served me well last year as I crossed Africa and climbed Kilimanjaro. It’s also made a huge difference in my battle with Covid-19.
For years, I’ve really focused my attention on reducing inflammation and I’m a real advocate for Go Condition because it does that and much more. I was so impressed that I approached the company to see if I could become an ambassador for the brand. They agreed, and as part of my agreement with them I asked if I could get a free bottle for every one of the subscribers to my email and blog.
They’ve agreed to that as well, so if you head over to their website using this link* bit.do/go-engle you’ll go through to my dedicated free trial landing page which explains the principles, ingredients and science behind the supplement and register for a month’s supply for yourself. You won’t be asked for a credit card or have any ongoing obligation, but you do need to input the discount code “ENGLE” in the discount code box. Easy enough to remember that code, right!? (*You have to use my special link or click from this blog for your order to be processed.)
I would love for you to try Go Condition and tell me what you think of it.
Those of you that have followed me through the years know how unusual my endorsement of a product is. I’m not usually comfortable with making a recommendation…but our bodies are in crisis mode these days and we all need a little help.
With the fall coming, I genuinely believe this supplement is a necessary and valuable addition to anyone’s health strategy.
What happens to us in life isn’t nearly as important as what we do about it.
remember the discount code is “ENGLE”
